Strong comeback by Flurina Baetschi in Canada

With 4th place in the parallel giant slalom in Val Saint Come, Flurina Baetschi achieves her best result in this discipline and sends an important signal at exactly the right time.

Flurina Baetschi made a strong statement at the World Cup in Val Saint Come (Canada). With 4th place in Saturday’s parallel giant slalom, she not only achieved her first top-4 result of the season, but also her best result to date in this discipline.

This result carries particular weight because the past few weeks have not been easy. After finishing 18th at the Olympic Games, difficult races in Poland and a disqualification in the Czech Republic shortly before the finish, Flurina Baetschi delivered a convincing response in Canada. She demonstrated fighting spirit, quality and confidence in her own strength.

She also appeared in good form on the second day of racing. In 17th place, she missed out on qualifying for the finals by just 222 hundredths. This underlines how consistent and competitive her performances were over the weekend.

With this success behind her, Flurina Baetschi now travels to Winterberg (Germany) with great confidence, where the World Cup final in the parallel slalom will take place next Saturday. The situation is clear: she can compete at the front.

Mirus Software AG is delighted with this strong result and extends its warm congratulations to Flurina Baetschi. We wish her every success for the season finale, fast runs and a successful finish.
